Deployment project manager
the deployment manager is a supply chain leader responsible for developing, selling, and executing commodity growth strategies aligned to the north america region. Initiatives to secure growth and mitigate supply risk include the transfer of suppliers, supply base optimization, quality & value engineering changes, among others. This position is responsible for building and supporting a solid pipeline of projects through new ideas development, partnering with our plants and cross functions, as well as coaching, disrupting, and leading the procurement organization in project & program management best practices.
responsibilities of the program management role:
1. develop a strategy for diverse commodities to ensure supplier capacity versus demand is achieved for long-term plans.
2. prioritize project pipeline based on key supply chain-related attributes.
3. maintain full involvement of all stakeholders and plants potentially impacted to work towards achieving the goals.
4. implement agile mindset/frameworks for program & portfolio planning.
5. lead activities and workshops that transform programs into rapid execution & simplification.
6. maintain proper follow-up of project deliverables and program strategy across the project management team.
7. ensure compliance with communication plans with all stakeholders.
8. communicate effectively and escalate project progress, clear escalations, and challenges, ensuring compliance with internal processes and business stakeholders.
9. present the program strategy to svp, vp, and director levels to secure funding, resources, and overall support from cross functions such as engineering, quality, plant managers, procurement, and supply chain leaders.

required skills:
1. bachelor's degree in engineering and/or business.
2. fully bilingual in english/spanish (written and oral).
3. 3-5 years of proven experience working in project management.
4. previous experience in procurement, engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain areas.
5. proactive, dynamic, self-driven, able to achieve results via influence and excellent communication skills.
6. seeks solutions beyond their own frame of reference.
7. availability to travel internationally (valid passport and usa visa).
8. knowledge of agile and its frameworks, especially scrum.
9. experience handling ambiguity, change, and multiple conflicts to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
desired skills:
1. interpretation of engineering specs, drawings, bom (bill of material), cost modeling, and inventory volumes.
2. pmp certification.
3. scrum master certification.
4. master's in business administration or supply chain.
5. experience implementing and leading agile transformations.
