Are you passionate about driving financial operations and fostering strong customer relationships? Join our finance team as overhead advisor, where you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality analysis related to people compensation and discretionary expenses, identifying risks and opportunities. This includes budgeting, forecasting, monthly monitoring, and variance analysis. This is an onsite position in querétaro, méxico.
a taste of what you’ll be doing
* expense management & variance analysis: manage overhead expenses, focusing on people compensation and controllable costs. Analyze financial data to identify and explain variances, providing insights for decision-making.
* budgeting & forecasting: develop and manage budgets and forecasts, collaborating with teams to ensure alignment with company goals. Provide insights into financial challenges and guide adjustments as needed.
* reporting (financial visibility): prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports using excel and other tools, providing visibility into expense trends and supporting data-driven decision-making.
* accounting and expense allocation: ensure accurate account reconciliations and proper allocation of expenses across cost centers. Support accrual determinations and financial reporting accuracy.
* continuous improvement: identify opportunities for process simplification and automation, streamlining workflows and improving the efficiency of financial reporting and planning.
we’re looking for someone with
* accounting, finance or similar degree with previous experience (experience in people cost is a plus).
* experience of 3 or 4 years in a similar position.
* advanced english (able to maintain effective communication in both spoken and written english).
* analytical skills, attention to detail and focused on results.
* advanced excel and desirable knowledge in sap and anaplan.
