Professional with technical background and fluent english skills, being responsible at a global level (worldwide) of the calculation, management and analysis of mainly the scope 3 emissions of the company.
additionally, responsible of emissions data reporting in cdp as well as reporting to analysts in the climate action environment (climate action 100+, tpi).
finally, the professional will oversee the scope 1 cement emissions in ready-mix and in charge of coordinating the ready-mix network to produce a roadmap with milestones and targets.
company offsetting strategy will be also part of his/her responsibilities.
*main responsibilities*:
- analysis, management and reporting of co2e scope 3 emissions and detection of improvement opportunities.
annual verification of the emissions with kpmg.
- the scope 3 accounting requires close collaboration with other areas, mainly supply chain and procurement (scope 1 own fleet emissions).
- co2 footprint administration, including emission factors calculation.
- coordination of region/country/site sustainability co2 experts, including energy team for the scope 2 emissions calculation and including ready-mix roadmap definition and follow-up in collaboration with ready-mix network and teams.
- define offsets (carbon credits) company strategy, with focus on industrial solutions.
- respond to climate analyst' reports, by performing a detailed analysis, developing an action plan, and following it up to ensure its achievement.

- interaction and influencing other areas, procurement, trading, supply chain, ready-mix network.
*qualifications*:
- studies: technical degree: environmental sciences, engineer (preferable chemical engineer), biologist or other sciences.
- languages: english b2, spanish will be valued.
- software skills: advance excel, power point.
- other software skills: power bi, collaborative tools (sharepoint )
- a previous experience in environmental management will be valued: climate change, lca, co2 footprint.
- a previous experience in cement operations will be valued, preferable in process or quality.
- international experience will be valued.
