Overview:*responsibilities*:- this person will execute delivery and logistics activities, ensuring on time shipment from the ship site to on time delivery to the customer.
in addition to the day-to-day sap transactions the position also involves working with team members to resolve delays, equipment challenges, etc.
that may impact on time delivery to the customer.- this position will interface with their counterparts in customer service, supply chain planning, sales, quality and production sites to meet productivity and quality metrics thereby ensuring a seamless order-to-deliver process.- teminal management - contract execution & inventory reconciliation.- rail ferry and overland rail shipment tracking.- sox compliance.- incident investigation, preventive and corrective action.- invoice review/approval.qualifications:- completed bachelor's degree (supply chain management, business, chemical engineer, etc.
)- 1-3 years logistic experience.- advanced level of english language (mandatory)- * required*:- basis knowledge of overland transportation modes- excel, word, power point- good communication skills- troubleshooting/problem solving skills- process improvement driven- * desired*:- truck, rail, iso tank and terminal experience/knowledge.- experience in sap and tms an advantage
