responsibilities
the talent acquisition specialist will provide support to the monterrey and santa clara plants, as well as the corporate office in mexico. This role involves managing the complete recruitment process for salaried positions and collaborating with external vendors to oversee the recruitment of high-volume hourly roles at the monterrey and santa clara plants. This role is a hybrid position and requires the selected candidate to be onsite two to three days a week.
1. act as a recruitment subject matter expert through the partnership with senior stakeholders.
2. act as the main point of contact for 3rd party agencies, outside vendors, and contract negotiations for mexico-based services.
3. build strong relationships with hr leaders and hiring managers within the plants to facilitate a cohesive partnership and continue education around talent attraction.
4. lead and/or participate in cross-functional special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.
5. lead change management initiatives to close talent gaps and enable the planning, assessment, development, and movement of talent.
6. analyze success against metrics and create and execute plans to achieve ongoing process improvement.
7. identify areas of opportunity for adapting hr procedures to support local operations and efficiencies.
8. support campus and experienced hire recruitment efforts, including career fairs, intern selections, interviews, and ongoing networking events throughout the year.
9. optimize the employee onboarding processes.
10. select candidates who meet the required specifications, evaluating their background, experience, skills, and attitudes through interview and psychometric techniques, verifying the skills required for the position.
11. coordinate the hiring and delivery of hourly hires for each area, through the receipt of documentation and ensuring new hires’ files are sent to the payroll area.
12. identify, attract, and recruit experienced professionals for roles in varied business lines and all corporate functions. Manage sourcing strategy, candidate development, and execution of full life cycle recruitment.
minimum requirements
* a bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement.
* proficiency in english is essential, as the team operates internationally and this is our primary language for collaboration.
* a preference is given to candidates with 4-5 years of experience and a proven background in corporate human resources recruitment.
* experience in recruiting for high-volume operational positions within a similar industry is also preferred.
* candidates must be able to work effectively under tight deadlines to meet the plants' objectives.
* familiarity with applicant tracking systems, google applications, and related processes is required.
* strong judgment, decision-making, critical thinking, and analytical abilities are essential.
* experience with psychometric testing is an advantage.
* a highly professional demeanor is expected, along with the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
