job description: the project manager is responsible for ensuring that contractual commitments are met during the execution of projects, from order entry through engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and final delivery. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain high customer satisfaction, proactive risk management, and adherence to industry standards and internal processes. A strong command of the english language in all aspects is imperative for effective communication and documentation.
responsibilities:
1. act as a single point of contact for customers on assigned orders.
2. coordinate and lead contract kick-off and review meetings.
3. communicate with all levels of the organization and customers in a timely, professional manner.
4. review contracts, technical documentation, and project phases against the quotation, ensuring compliance with pricing, payment terms, and contractual obligations.
5. monitor and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risks, developing contingency plans as necessary.
6. ensure on-time delivery of project outputs in compliance with kpis and customer expectations.
7. conduct pre-inspection meetings with customers and quality teams, if applicable.
8. support continuous improvement activities and maintain accurate project records.
9. collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and purchasing teams to achieve project goals.
10. handle order interpretation, documentation, expediting, shipping, and liaising with internal departments or suppliers.
job requirements:
qualifications:
education: bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical engineering, or a related field. Advanced training or certification in pmi methodology or project management (pmp) is highly desirable. Master’s degree is a plus.
experience: 3-5 years of project management experience (preferably in metal-mechanical or manufacturing industries). Customer service experience is desirable. Experience with international customers and multilingual environments is an advantage.
skills: strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in microsoft project, microsoft office, and sap hana system. Technical knowledge in reviewing engineering drawings, data sheets, and customer specifications. Risk analysis and management expertise. Fluency in english (business level) is required.
