*duties and responsibilities*:
- responsible for the daily planning of each assigned area (materials, checking lead times, capacity, machinery, etc).
analyze and release jobs to production with the expectation of freeing up work without shortages and capacity of production lines.
it analyzes current and future demand against the installed capacity of its areas.
measure the fulfillment of production jobs through routine follow-up.
it is the communication channel between the production, shipments, logistics and customer service departments.
it is responsible for monitoring and expeditious customer service with the best shipping date for urgent orders.
track slow-moving and obsolete products in order to maintain an optimal level of inventory.
analyze business trends to be able to trigger supply strategies that guarantee production.
participation in design reviews or new products and engineering changes.
report daily the status of production as well as demand of the production lines.
manage existing material inventory levels, this using sap parameters or minimums, and maximize business security supplies.
assist in the administration of slow movement and obsolete products for analysis and disposition.
responsible for the correct parameterization in the system of suppliers, components and purchase orders.
monitor supplier performance in terms of quality and delivery time.
manage purchase orders in compliance with contractual or corporate terms and conditions.
determine the level of urgency with customers and suppliers to ensure supply, making limited use of freight with additional costs for the company.
track invoices blocked for payment, either by discretion in catindad or price, until their resolution and payment to the supplier.
negotiate the best lot sizes according to business needs.
