Job description
responsibilities:
1. develop, produce, and analyze reports generated on a regular and ad-hoc basis across hr applications.
2. manage and drive hr data governance and hr data quality across the hr functions.
3. collaborate closely with the workday configuration team and hr functional teams to ensure efficient and timely delivery of the integrations within the workday and hr ecosystem.
4. generate and maintain hr sys sops, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies and practices.
5. collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate system upgrades and fixes.
6. assist with projects such as data and workflow management to support ad-hoc hr projects.
7. monitor the hr system workload, develop service level standards and ensure data integrity.
8. adapt hris plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
9. troubleshoot and resolve reported issues to ensure timely resolution.
10. review feedback from stakeholders and implement solutions that work best for the team.
11. develop and manage operational initiatives to realize operational and strategic plans.
12. oversee professional employees/teams or manage non-professional employees through supervisors in manufacturing, distribution, or office environments.
13. manage day-to-day operations of a group of employees.
14. contribute to budgetary impact and may have limited budgetary responsibility.
15. interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies.
16. provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning.
17. hire staff, recommend pay increases, perform performance reviews, train and develop staff, estimate personnel needs, assign work, and interpret and ensure consistent application of organizational policies.
education
* bachelor’s degree in business or information technology related field.
work experience
* at least 5 years of experience in hris/hrss model operation, tress, workday, or other hr systems.
* experience with hris & hrss model, workday implementation, and hr software such as tress, +orden, zendesk, pes, etc.
* experience working with remote teams.
knowledge / skills / abilities
* fluent in english (written & conversational - 80%).
* experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing staff.
* ability to handle data with confidentiality.
* ability to provide support to multiple sites.
* skill in planning, organizing, and managing workload and priorities.
* able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and changing tasks and priorities.
* ability to effectively communicate on complex issues with a high level of effectiveness.
* able to work collaboratively and effectively with other staff, employees, and supervisors.
* customer service experience.
* strong people manager for remote employees/team.
* knowledge of microsoft office (outlook, word, excel, powerpoint).
