Essential responsibilities:
1. development and support for etrace (sox)
2. working closely with business users and stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose technical solutions to the project manager.
3. planning and documenting functional requirements for features and system design.
4. designing, building, and configuring new function modules in etrace to meet business process and application requirements.
5. working with other team members in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications.
6. providing sustaining support to etrace with enhancement releases and data maintenance adhering to it change management processes.
7. standardization and rollout of etrace and other related applications to other sites.
8. ensuring standardization of the etrace solution across all ae factories and rolling out newly developed modules to new manufacturing sites as appropriate.
9. working with the project manager to perform functional and/or technical assessments of rolling out etrace to other ap facilities.
10. collaborating with the project manager to prepare an execution plan and seamless go-live as per the plan with minimal impact to operations, along with a contingency plan to handle any possible exceptions.
11. coaching the local application support team to get familiar with etrace technical details, ensuring timely and effective support after etrace rollout.
12. conducting user training, user acceptance testing, test scripts, follow-ups on tasks and deliverables, understanding the process, and working on system improvements based on issues encountered in the production line, user feedback, or personal assessments.
13. providing team coaching and mentoring if needed.
14. mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards.
minimum requirements:
1. minimum of three years of experience in business systems (wms, mes) development and/or support is required.
2. experience in the development and support of erp systems (sap, oracle).
3. bachelor's degree in computer information systems with a major in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent education.
4. education/knowledge of wms (warehouse management system), mes (manufacturing execution system), and erp (enterprise resource planning).
