Your tasks
- manage and implement product and process changes in collaboration with internal and external departments.
- perform risk analysis and update product documentation
- perform product specific testing and start-up of production process and pre-series production (e.g.
ensure run rate) and handover to production (series) according to standards
- support product specific customer releases (ppap, e.g.
for initial series process or after product or process changes incl.
initial sample test report, etc.)
according to standards (e.g.
trigger matrix)
- responsible for the industrialization of product and process changes
- ensure the achievement of product and process industrialization targets according to internal and external customer expectations
- plan and implement investments for project/product specific tooling and devices (e.g.
molds, mandrels, jigs, gauges) according to standards
- lead tool / gauge design in collaboration with tool design.
- perform tool capacity analysis.
- identify and implement product optimization potential (e.g.
raw material replacement) in running articles in alignment with central (segment, bu) product development or similar function according to standards
- solve proactively quality issues regarding customer complaints and reject rate (in close cooperation with quality) according to standards
- identify and implement technical production processes optimization potential regarding quality, efficiency and capability (i.e.
process parameters as e.g.
extrusion speed, vulcanization time, cutting speed, etc.)
according to standards
- ensure accomplishing of ppi kpis
- ensure product and process industrialization performance (kpi) monitoring and reporting (e.g.
regarding cost, lead time, quality of product and process industrialization activities such as ramp-up projects)
- initiate and control measures to improve product and process industrialization performance like spc control for the process designated
*profile*:
- engineering degree (manufacturing, industrial and chemicals).
- several years of experience in lean manufacturing activities.
- process or product industrialization knowledge in hoses manufacturing.
- desirable knowledge of data analysis tools and quality standards.
- knowledge in creating and managing production routines.
- knowledge of sap.
- international experience and availability to travel abroad eventually.
- rubber experience is mandatory.
- spanish and english: fluent in speaking and writing is mandatory.

it is a key position to work in our new greenfield facility in mexico as the responsible for the complete process development in the plant.
in the contitech, a continental sector, you will coordinate and follow up on all product and process industrialization in order to meet the business case, project budget, and its production targets (e.g.
reduce scrap and waste, cycle times).
furthermore, the ppi coordinador initiates and implements action plans for continuous improvement of all product and process industrialization relevant processes.
you will be responsible for transferring the available know-how in other plants worldwide to the new plant, in a very challenging environment with a very motivated team.
