*responsibility level*:
under the direction of a human resources director is responsible for the delivery and execution of hr services to employees and managers in a defined area.
performs a variety of employment related functions for the ultimate purpose of enhancing employee engagement, productivity and ensuring employee compliance with company policies.
*principle duties*:
- under mínimal supervision provides human resources support to a large and/or remote workforce.
- ability to work autonomously in ambiguous situations and adapt quickly to change, as well as guide varying levels of the organization through change.
- leverages the full capabilities of the human resources (hr) organization, e.g.
centers of expertise (coe's), shared service centers, business hr and compliance.
- consults on a variety of routine to complex employee relations issues such as corrective actions, policy violations and performance issues.
- presents human resources programs to customer groups and employees.
- supports labor relations in union and non-union environment.
- leverages reputation as a neutral and approachable hr professional to identify the best solution based on the situation.
- participate in implementation of organization changes and support with appropriate change management processes.
- actively participate in projects / continuous improvement initiatives from design through implementation.
- identify workforce and hiring plans necessary to drive recruiting staff to develop strategy for recruiting top caliber employees; in partnership with talent acquisition.
- partner with leaders to assess current talent and develop long term talent strategies that establish required competencies and skill levels and that ultimately improve the performance of the organization.
- respects differences and promotes inclusion on an organizational level.
*requirements*:
- bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent work experience required.
- minimum of *+2 *_years _*human resources related experience or equivalent work experience.
- working knowledge of general hr practices and regulations.
- ability to handle high volume and complex workload.
- ability to manage through conflict while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with continuous improvement practices.
- demonstrated ability to deliver sensitive and difficult communications to employees and leaders ( *_e.g.
_*corrective action, reductions-in-force, and involuntary terminations).
- recognizes potential employee relations issues in a proactive manner and either resolves the issue or escalates concerns appropriately.
- exceptional organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills are essential.
- projects a sensitive and professional image on behalf of the organization.
- ability to flex style when faced with numerous and competing priorities.
