The payroll specialist is responsible for us.
thisincludes processing payroll and coordinating with all departmentson various changes.
as part of this role, the specialist will bethe primary point of contact for us pay role manager regardingemployee pay.
the specialist should be comfortable managing allcompensation audits and assisting with the company's year-endfinancial audit.
role and responsibilities - manage company-wideemployee salary changes & adjustments with periodic accuracyand completeness audit.
- manage the weekly and biweekly payrollprocess including processing of commissions, bonuses,reimbursements, and other employee incentives.
- saves reports,organizes, and prepares finished payrolls for review by management.- reviews and processes external contractor payments.
- ms officeand computer skills.
- act as a primary backup related to allaspects of employee management as needed.
- completing applicationsfor new states for withholding, unemployment company and localwithholding.
- working with outside auditor requests to reconcilegeneral ledger to 941's, w-2's and w-3.
- ensure compliance withfederal, state, and local agencies for payroll liabilities,garnishments.
- solve problems related to back pay, garnishments,insurance and 401k withholding, direct deposits, and incorrect taxjurisdictions.
- eagerness to work independently as well as part ofa team with flexibility and willingness to learn and takeinitiative on a variety of tasks and projects.
- experiencehandling confidential business matters and information withdiscretion.

-key skills, abilities, and competencies: - strong written andverbal english language - experience with processing us-basedpayroll processes (multi-state preference) - excellent verbal andwritten communication skills.
- excel skills required (lookups, ofstatements, pivot table proficiency is a base level of expectation).
- highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented.
- solidunderstanding and working knowledge of payroll processes andsystems, particularly in a union environment.
location: querétaro,querétaro salary range from $42,000 to $47,000 + superior legalbenefits.
