*position summary*
serves as a liaison between the it & business consumers and customers. As part of the product team within local brm / regional / global product group, the analyst it business systems brings deep understanding to the opportunities and issues facing your business function and advises on the best system solutions.
The position is responsible for performing functional system updates, representing the business’s needs and ensuring the business is following nestle data standards and best practices.

- contribution to it strategy - under the supervision and guidance of her/his primary community of practice lead and product group manager based in switzerland
- supports the product manager, regional leads and business relationship manager in the development of the strategy through incremental improvement of the product
- helps business partners optimize the existing business process and translates new business process steps into system requirements
- identify gaps in existing tools/functionalities and processes, options for improvement.
- data quality, business understanding as it pertains to data & process, ensuring process adherence, process improvements, and directing offshore team members.
- analyzes, documents and tests program development, logic, process flows and specifications
- documents training materials for the product area
- delivers training to the end users, deployment and support teams
- supports the analysis and resolution of solution issues as part of the third level sustain
- designs business scenarios and use cases for the product mix, including product introduction, specification and the change management required to maximize its adoption/value
- works with it product managers to define the minimum viable product (mvp) that satisfies the business need
- secures by early business feedback that the mvps defined will really provide the desired value (mvp taste-testing)
- identifies gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation
*what will make you successful*
- bachelor's degree in business, information systems or related discipline, or equivalent; m.b.a. preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area
- project management experience
- experience working in an agile/devops environment using design thinking methodology
- experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in english
- experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
- extensive technical specification, configuration, master data, batch jobs and general understanding/knowledge related to product streams
- solution integration knowledge is required.
- proven record of identifying and implementing successful projects with positive business results.
- demonstrated ability to learn new tech
- functional understanding of material, customer / vendor master preferrable from sap
- messaging error trouble shooting
- functional understanding of data tables and ability to use excel / access in an advance manner
