Overview:

sourcing/procurement process improvement specialist has a strong background in analyzing and improving business processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions, and monitor the results to ensure continuous improvement. The sourcing/procurement process improvement specialist will work closely with various departments to understand their workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend changes that will streamline sourcing and procurement operations. He/she will work closely with all regions to generate intelligence and insights for s2p strategies and initiatives.
How you would contribute: (responsibilities and tasks associated with the job)
- implement continuous improvement initiatives and support the global sourcing and procurement teams involved in the source to pay process improvements and enhancements.
- conduct data gathering and analysis across applicable procurement and supply chain teams and help prepare executive level presentations
- work closely with other departments to understand their sourcing and procurement needs and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- track and report on key performance indicators (kpis) to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and supplier performance.
- identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain and s2p activities.
- act as a global expert on sourcing/ procurement governance and reporting issues as well as support ad hoc assignments to drive strategic topics and coordinate project launch of such topics.
- understand and track other related procurement policy requirements to be able to streamline procurement operation and enhance efficiency and ensure alignment with global policies and strategies
- provide guidance, advice, and training programs, to improve understanding of policies and procedures.
- support global process and strategy improvements related to oracle purchasing modules, mysupport, coupa core sourcing, coupa lcms, procurement and strategic sourcing that align with business objectives
- perform ad-hoc activities and initiatives to support sourcing/ procurement governance team needs

job qualifications:
skills and background required to be successful: (list requirements, including education and experience needed for the job)
- min 5 years of relevant functional experience driving procurement strategy-related topics problem definition, analytics, stakeholder alignment on solution exploration, and coordination of global execution
- work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders to manage policy and process changing initiatives from concept to implementation and evaluation
- strong understanding of corporate operations, including source to pay operations, compliance support and corporate policies and procedures.
- self-motivated and proactive team player, who has strong organizational and problem-solving skills and high attention to detail with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- advanced computer skills (microsoft excel, word, powerpoint, outlook, teams, power bi, various software packages)
- experience in audit/operational risk and process control would be an asset
- fluent in english, any other language is an asset
education
- bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- professional certifications such as certified professional in supply management (cpsm) or certified supply chain professional (cscp) are a plus.
