*what you'll do*:*job summary*:manages the human resources function in corporate mexico with strong emphasis in establishing and improving key hr systems and processes necessary to support the organization.
support the executive team with programs and actions in all business decisions.
provides services for salaried employees in staffing, management and organizational development, compensation, benefits, and training.
provides guidance to senior management in the implication of changes in management policy or programs.
the position drives continuous improvement in human resources while utilizing the framework of the eaton business system (ebs) and the continuous improvement framework (cif).
*responsibilities*:- culture and organization effectiveness - understand the business strategy and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability within the functional areas and drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy.
must have the ability to diagnose gaps between current and desired organization performance and deploy actions to resolve gap, including organization redesign, process change, coaching and training.
ensure organization practices align with the eaton philosophy- assessment and selection - ability to assess and select top talent in a timely manner while utilizing eaton talent acquisition resources and partnering with hiring managers.
develop and analyze metrics that measure the success of staffing efforts, build leadership and organizational capability across all functional areas.- talent management - strengthens employee retention and engagement through establishing the standard on-boarding and orientation processes with integrated efforts from various functions.
training and development - manage these processes to facilitate employee development aimed at building core competencies in the area.- manage corporate hr processes, including but not limited to employee survey, sucession planning (talent reviews), performance management and ebs.- provides advanced coaching, consulting and facilitation to leaders.
provide guidance and direction on complex business and hr issues.
understand how to manage information, balancing confidentiality with business needs and know when to communicate information upward.- compensation - administer compensation programs to assure competitive pay practices through systems that strive to reward superior employee performance.
manage salary and compensation planning and administration.- employee communications - advocate employee communications processes that inform employees as well as to assure two way communications between employees and management- labor relations - represent the company position in labor relations proceedings associated with contract administration and employment practices
