Ensure regulatory compliance in foreign trade operations, guaranteeing proper control of imports and exports under the immex, prosec, oea, and iva & ieps certification schemes for all production plants. Optimize the management of tariff and non-tariff regulations, minimize risks, and oversee inventory control under anexo 24 and 30, ensuring traceability and alignment with applicable legal provisions.
responsibilities:
1. develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with foreign trade regulations, including the immex, prosec, oea certification, and iva & ieps schemes, as well as tariff and non-tariff regulations.
2. ensure the correct application of free trade agreements (ftas), the qualification of goods' origin, and compliance with foreign trade regulations, restrictions, and obligations. Optimize tax and customs benefits in import and export operations, ensuring alignment with current regulations.
3. supervise and optimize import and export processes, ensuring operational efficiency and cost reduction. Additionally, coordinate with internal departments and logistics providers to ensure compliance with timelines and regulations.
4. coordinate and oversee the preparation, validation, and compliance of required documentation for imports, exports, and virtual operations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customs regulations.
5. supervise and ensure compliance and control of entries, exits, and transfers between immex plants, guaranteeing proper traceability in annex 24.
6. supervise tax compliance of import documents, ensure proper filing and availability of information for customs authorities, and track shipments for timely clearance. Manage document generation in the system, coordinate labeling of imported machinery, oversee annex 30 reports, fixed asset inventory, and balance structure in accordance with anexo 24.
7. closely monitor international import freight services to track transit times and provide notifications of any changes to keep the material arrival status updated in sap. Additionally, ensure compliance in sap with activities related to the tms (transportation management system) module.
8. implement and execute the necessary controls to ensure that parcel shipping services are carried out in accordance with established commitments, guaranteeing timely delivery to customers and compliance with applicable regulations, including the management and control of the "complemento carta porte.".
9. supervise and keep the detailed reconciliation of intercompany freight expenses and charges up to date, ensuring transparency and efficiency in logistics operations.
10. implement and monitor kpis for customs operations, generate reports and departmental expense metrics, and provide full support for internal and external audits.
11. analyze regulatory changes in foreign trade that impact the company and implement the necessary measures or processes required to comply with such changes.
12. ensure effective communication with internal operational areas and external service providers to guarantee proper customs compliance and coordinate corrective and/or improvement actions.
13. manage procedures through the single window (vucem), including automatic notices, rule 8th requests, civa modification notices, among others.
requirements:
1. bachelor’s degree in international business, international trade or related fields.
2. proven experience of 5 to 7 years.
3. diploma and/or specialization: preferred in customs and compliance and logistics.
4. knowledge in customs law, rgce, tigie, annex 24, annex 30.
5. tlc´s, immex, civa, oea.
6. certification in foreign trade and customs (immex, ctpat, oea, anexo 24 & 30)
7. audit and internal control in compliance.
8. certification in compliance and risk management (iso 37301 & iso 31000).
9. fluent & strong in english
10. knowledge in office package.
