*opportunity*
under the general supervision of the materials manager this position coordinates and schedules production in sap for kohler bajio this includes providing manufacturing reports, control inventory levels of finished product to assure objectives are met. Coordinates activities and efforts to minimize inventory investment and assure maximum manufacturing efficiencies.
Specific responsibilities
1.responsible for the preparation of production programs in accordance to sales forecasts and the plant capacities.
2.works closely with manufacturing supervision to establish a follow-up process on production.
3.strictly and uniformly enforce production-reporting accuracy and provide manufacturing reports on unfilled orders, units past-due, and urgent units that need to be delivered
4.modification of the annual production program in accordance to the market conduct.
5.prepares scheduling adjustments when equipment breaks down or materials are defective.
6.conducts effective communications with material control personnel, purchasing department and production personnel to establish, verify and met manufacturing and shipment due dates
7.elaborates weekly, monthly and annual report to evaluate the accomplishment of the required pieces.
8.maintains up-to-date production schedules and maintains records of the location and physical status of the production.
9.reviews inventory levels and recommend disposition of excess and slow moving materials according to established procedures.
10.coordinates finish good and components cycle counts.
11.monthly report of the pieces shipped so that the goals established may be reviewed (yield).
12.maintains communication with customers and customer service department regarding open orders and back orders.
13.elaboration of icar ́s, report of nonfulfilment for the quality department.
14.comply with the health and safety roles and responsibilities established for this position (see responsibilities chart by position).

education:
preference bachelor ́s degree
experience:
preference more than 4 years scheduling/planning experience.
Formation:
preference computer systems working knowledge (sap experience) and strong experience in excel. Preference work experience in control of inventories and cycle counts. Preference english.
