Hcl tech's microsoft business applications practice - (mbap) is seeking a power platform developer to join their award winning and growing team.
this individual will have hands-on development experience and will work collaboratively with consultants and architects to ensure deliverables meet the needs of the business and aims to always add value to the power platform team and customers.
the successful candidate will have a good level of knowledge of all components of the power platform and be a champion of delivering against requirements using code-free solutions.
they will stay up to date on the latest functionality offered by the platform and work with team members both in a project and practice context.
they must possess excellent consultancy and communication skills and be capable of working with stakeholders.
they must also have exposure to all aspects of the project lifecycle, from project inception and requirements gathering to implementation and adherence to best practice, all the way through to testing, training and support.
roles and responsibilities proven experience of microsoft power platform development – canvas & model driven apps, power automate, custom copilot and power bi ability to liaise with business stakeholders on app requirements ability to collaborate with the global power platform team on platform technical requirements be accountable for ensuring that we deliver services into operations in line with information security policy controls standard and operations delivery processes.
innovate within these standards utilizing itil, agile and devops practices to their full value.
contribute to functional and solution design/specification documents leverage power platform expertise to help the team solve complex problems.
role experience knowledge and experience with developing model-driven and canvas apps, as well as an understanding of the difference between them experience working with microsoft dataverse advanced use of microsoft powerpoint, excel, word, and visio proven experience working in both agile/waterfall project delivery ability to collaborate with functional teams with both onshore and offshore resources ability to demonstrate a clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilities excellent client-facing skills, e.g., verbal, client demonstrations, delivering training within an organization strong understanding of software development principles and best practices experience requirements gathering, solution design, prototyping and unit testing integration qualifications power platform certifications- pl100/pl200/pl400 bachelor's degree from an accredited university first-hand professional experience within a consultancy environment skilled in power platform code syntax and language requirements, api, or rest service integrations nice to have experience working with robotic process automation (rpa) technologies and tools, such as power automate desktop, ui path, blue prism nice to have experience in power bi development for dashboards, reports, and standalone visuals nice to have experience in power pages development and other custom portal development basic to intermediate experience in integrating with azure services through power automate, logic apps, azure functions, web api's expertise in the power platform coe and all governance components a proficient level of knowledge with project tools such as azure devops experience in solution delivery with tools other than power platform such as office 365, d365, etc.
