responsibilities:
1. fulfill production program:
1. follow safety procedures, minimizing the risks of work.
2. coordinate the group of technical production, assigning shifts, machines, and daily and monthly standards for production.
3. promote and ensure attendance at training courses and meetings for technical personnel.
4. manage multiple skills programs (training and technical evaluation of production staff).
5. ensure the proper use of materials and components for production.
6. review compliance with roles and shifts in the production area and payroll reports.
7. ensure the timely acquisition of human resources to meet customer requirements.
8. coordinate assistance from staff areas (quality, maintenance, process, store, etc.) to resolve issues affecting safety, product quality, and timely delivery.
2. process engineering:
1. define process parameters to optimize productivity and product quality.
2. maintain updated process parameters in the quality management system.
3. assist in production lines when processes generate defective products.
4. check standard operating procedures (poes) / opi's.
5. coordinate and create prototypes for new development with product engineer.
3. fulfill quality, ecology, and security norms:
1. apply rules, procedures, and indicators concerning quality, ecology, and safety to minimize environmental pollution and occupational hazards.
2. safeguard physical integrity and promote the correct use of safety equipment.
3. participate actively in the equipment security system.
4. notify members of the integrated manufacturing unit of any safety or quality concerns.
4. equipment maintenance:
1. prepare and check equipment/tools for safety and functionality.
2. perform autonomous maintenance at the beginning of each shift.
3. report equipment flaws to maintenance technicians and engineers.
4. coordinate with all areas to verify productivity, quality, cleanliness, and environmental commitments.
5. quality objectives compliance:
1. ensure compliance with quality objectives through strict implementation of policies and procedures.
2. participate actively in troubleshooting equipment quality.
3. implement standard operating procedures (sops / opi's) at each workstation.
4. train all staff in the proper use of equipment and procedures.
6. continuous improvement:
1. apply principles and tools aimed at productivity and work simplification.
2. participate in programs to reduce energy consumption and costs.
3. emit improvement ideas.
4. maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
qualifications:
professional experience: 5 to 7 years in the automotive industry.
language: english (desirable).
