*what you will do*
- monitor tableau server infrastructure and resource utilization (processor, memory, disk) or tableau bridge pool availability and activity;
- develop and maintain scripts for automation and monitoring tasks;
- analyze performance metrics and create dashboards to visualize data health;
- monitor client software installation including versions and database drivers, including tableau desktop, tableau reader, tableau prep and tableau bridge;
- collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to troubleshoot and resolve data extract issues;
- implement best practices for production monitoring, including alerting and incident management;
- conduct root cause analysis on production incidents and develop solutions to prevent recurrence;
- document processes, workflows, and troubleshooting guides for internal use.
*must haves*
- minimum *3 years* of experience in the role;
- bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field;
- proven experience with *tableau cmt*, *tableau desktop*, *tableau server*, and *golang*;
- knowledge of data governance and data security best practices;
- strong analytical skills with a focus on data quality and performance;
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-motivated team player. Eager to learn and share knowledge;
- upper-intermediate english level.
*nice to haves*
- knowledge of tableau pulse, tableau agent, tableau prep, snowflake, and sql is desirable.
