about the role we are looking to hire an insights & analytics expert for spain & portugal to leverage the power of combined insight and analytics data to accelerate business performance through identified consumer, shopper and expert-led opportunities resulting in improved profitable growth for haleon.
based in madrid, the insights & analytics expert for spain & portugal will be a key business partner by putting the consumer, shopper and expert data & insights at the heart of all brand decisions.
also, by being a consumer advocate, he / she will strengthen our external focus and help grow the consumer iq across spain and portugal commercial teams.
key responsibilities creation and delivery of the annual insights & analytics learning plan required to drive the in-market strategy and activation.
conduct market research studies compliantly with haleon standards.
lead marketing mix modelling projects in coordination with cbia functional champions.
identify future growth opportunities through landscape and trend analysis.
partner in annual brand plan work ensuring local context and insights are properly captured throughout.
craft cross-categories / company-level / portfolio analysis to provide insights on competitor's strategies.
feed shopper-centric category excellence approaches across mass market and pharmacy channel.
partner with lead insight agencies to leverage best-in-class research tools and techniques, as well as with data vendor to identify opportunities for joint business planning.
foster commercial teams to maximize utilization of existing sources, championing wholebrain thinking.
qualifications and skills essential the ideal candidate knows how to unlock the potential of insights from market research and market data.
business partner experience in similar roles, preferably in fast moving consumer goods / fast moving consumer healthcare at manufacturer, agency or consultancy.
bachelor marketing management / business management / management economics.
a master in social sciences or statistics is a plus.
technical expertise across analytics (sellout data base metrics, econometrics) and market research (qual / quant).
strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and formulate powerful recommendation to business.
strong teamwork and passion to work across boundaries.
internal stakeholder management.
action-oriented and results-driven.
excellent communication skills (oral and written).
excellent spanish proficiency.
very good english proficiency.
very good knowledge of the spanish consumer.
project management.
precision in handling budget reporting.
the knowledge of the pharmacy channel is a plus.
