cap manage – job description
cap manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and monitoring of corrective and preventive action plans, focusing on those resulting from client audits. This includes identifying process inefficiencies, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to improve overall operational performance and quality control.
key responsibilities:
* lead the identification and analysis of non-conformities and develop appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
* collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure that corrective actions are implemented effectively and in a timely manner.
* ensure the proper documentation of all corrective and preventive actions taken, following service instructions.
* ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies regarding corrective actions.
* continuously keep track of cap procedures updates to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
qualifications:
* 4-year college degree in a major of social sciences, law, hr, occupational health and safety, or sustainability; advanced degree is preferred.
* minimum two (2) years of experience in social compliance auditing or experience in manufacturing preferred.
* apsca registration required.
* strong business acumen.
* excellent customer service and results-oriented.
* effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.
* excellent verbal and written english and spanish.
* high degree of proficiency with microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, and internet-research/reporting/analysis tools.
* maintains a global perspective and is culturally sensitive and aware.
* highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
* comfortable with confrontation, with a diplomatic and easy demeanor.
* ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment with persons of varying socio-economic status.
* ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
* sa8000 auditor certification, rba, bsci certification, or equivalent is a plus.
* knowledge of international and local labor standards and human rights issues are preferred.
