The maintenance superivsor is responsible and leadtechnical maintenance team supervising their activities andmaintain operative equipment related to operations and systemsfacilities all over the plant reporting to maintenance manager.comply position kpis related to, also lead and promote team growingup activities as training and empowerment being empathic andrespectfully.
role & responsibility personnel management - withalways "safety first" statement in mind, assure all teammembers/associates comply with ppe and safety standards, as wellcomply with of 5s´s methodology and practices.
- approve overtimeas needed according to rules and policies.
- responsible to followup and report performance indicators of equipment as mtbf, mttr,mttf - responsible to comply with preventive and predictivemaintenance equipment schedules.
- responsible to maintain properstock of critical equipment spare parts according oem suggestions.- as a service department, attend always the requests form otherareas with sense of urgency and a diligent way.
- maintain a goodworking knowledge of company policies and regulations toadministrate discipline of team members, in accordance withprogressive discipline procedures.
- to know plant key performanceindicators performance as safety, quality, delivery, cost andmorale taking actions to always maintain them within objectivevalues.
department administration - follow up team membersattendance and discipline towards to job performance.
- reviewperiodically compliance with equipment and systems scheduledmaintenance routines.
- review periodically status of consumablematerials and equipment spare part requisitions and purchaseorders.
- administrate spending behavior (within budget) related tomaintenance department.
- responsible for maintaining goodhousekeeping, performing daily and weekly safety audits, alsomonthly safety meetings, to ensure a safe working environment forall employees.
- review in a daily basis the team leaders shift logto take actions on any abnormality reported.
- use problem solvingtechnics to improve kpis performance in accordance to continuousimproving philosophy.
- attend periodic scheduled departmentmeetings called by maintenance manger and provide informationrequested.
labor relations - interpret the "contrato colectivo detrabajo" agreement and attempt to resolve employee issues and/orgrievances.

job requirement - electromechanical engineer, orrobotics degree.
engineer degree certificate and "cedula" arerequired.
- 3+ years' experience on operations maintenancedepartment (production and facilities).
- languages: professionalspanish and english fluent - less than 10% travel.

- microsoft excel, word and power point basic skills.
-ability to follow written instructions.
- very good communicationskills - ability to manage groups of people (10+ team members) -global breadth: north america - must be flexible to work any shift.- must be able to work overtime as needed.
