The assistant controller will supervise and manage the accounting and financial processes of the new plant, ensuring regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and the generation of accurate financial reports for strategic decision-making.
responsibilities:
* supervise the general accounting of the plant to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with accounting standards.
* develop and implement internal financial controls to minimize risks and improve operational efficiency.
* coordinate monthly and annual financial closing, ensuring data integrity and compliance with deadlines.
* prepare and analyze financial and budget reports to provide relevant information to management.
* control operational costs and analyze budget variations to support decision-making.
* oversee tax administration and fiscal compliance according to local and international regulations.
* manage internal and external audits, ensuring availability and accuracy of financial information.
* collaborate with the purchasing and logistics department in cost evaluation and material cost control.
* implement financial and erp systems to optimize automation and efficient management of accounting processes.
education and experience:
* education: bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or financial administration. A master's degree in finance or cpa certification is desirable.
* required experience:
* (4-5 years) experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
* (4-5 years) management of financial closings and internal audits.
* (6-7 years or more) financial planning in manufacturing companies.
