as a supervisor i, food and beverage, you will be responsible for directly supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in preparing and serving food. Your role will include overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing exceptional customer service.
job duties and responsibilities
* supervise and coordinate the food preparation, plating, and service for food & beverage operations, ensuring that quality standards are maintained consistently.
* develop and maintain positive communication with both front and back-of-house staff to foster a supportive and team-oriented work environment.
* assist in training and onboarding new team members, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their performance and development.
* monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders when necessary, and ensuring proper storage of food items, equipment, and supplies.
* resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner, always striving to provide exceptional guest experiences.
* maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices in accordance with local health department guidelines and company standards.
* assist in the creation and implementation of sales promotions, special events, and marketing strategies to increase revenue and guest satisfaction.
* maintain up-to-date knowledge of current industry trends, seasonal menu items, and local competitors to ensure the continued success and growth of the food & beverage operations.
* complete additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
