As a critical role in the organization, the accounting contractor will be responsible for directly supporting the accounting team and the sales process. The role will be responsible for supporting the us and canadian controllers with invoicing clients, the month-end close process (gaap accounting), weekly cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting.location: fully-remote (work from home), 9 am - 5 pm estessential duties and responsibilitysupport the billing process through the creation of billing notifications in the crm and invoices.support the month-end close process by preparing account reconciliations (prepaids, accruals, deferred revenue) and journal entries.assist with the preparation of the balance sheet reconciliation workbook.assist in the preparation of the weekly cash flow forecast including weekly bank reconciliations.assist in financial reporting and the consolidation in excel of multiple legal entities.assist with the annual financial audit.perform variance analysis of the financial statements.utilize technology to drive continuous improvement to the financial accounting processes, reports, and controls.perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.other dutiesplease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for their job.
