as shared services manager, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing global transactional human resources operations to drive efficiencies and economies of scale in key functional activities. This role will focus on ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of operational processes such as payroll, personnel administration, content development for the ruhrpumpen university, and the recruitment processes for administrative and leadership positions.
main responsibilities:
1. optimization of transactional processes:
o manage and coordinate global shared services for human resources, with a focus on continuous improvement of efficiency and reduction of operational costs.
o ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of payroll processes across all regions.
o oversee personnel administration, including salary changes, promotions, lateral moves, and supervisor changes.
2. content development for ruhrpumpen university:
o collaborate with key teams to design, develop, and update training content within the ruhrpumpen university, aligned with organizational and professional development needs.
o oversee the delivery of training programs and their integration with learning platforms, always seeking to optimize employee experience.
3. recruitment for administrative and leadership positions:
o manage and optimize recruitment processes for administrative and leadership positions across all regions, ensuring a steady flow of talent and reducing hiring times.
o work closely with talent management teams and business leaders to understand their needs and align them with best hiring practices.
o utilize analytics and metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment processes and recommend improvements.
4. driving efficiencies and economies of scale:
o identify and implement initiatives that generate operational savings and enhance productivity through the implementation of technology, standardized processes, and automation.
o coordinate continuous improvement projects to streamline and standardize processes across all hr areas.
o collaborate with hr leaders and departments to share best practices and ensure alignment with global initiatives.
5. service productivity and quality management:
o ensure the productivity and quality of shared services by establishing and managing service level agreements (slas) for all hr transactional services.
o monitor performance against slas, taking corrective actions when necessary to ensure service delivery meets business expectations.
o continuously improve slas and service standards to maintain a high level of satisfaction among internal stakeholders.
6. team and stakeholder management:
o lead shared services teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
o manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that services provided meet quality standards and business expectations.
job's requirements:
* bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field
* advanced/fluent english language is required for effective and daily communication worldwide.
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in global and cross-functional environments.
* effective communication skills at all organizational levels and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* in-depth knowledge of payroll, personnel administration, training, and recruitment processes.
* experience leading shared services teams and continuous improvement projects.
* strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive results.
