*responsibilities*:
- provide support to distributed staff in areas related to desktop/laptop computing and use of system management platforms (e.g. Intune and jamf pro); work cooperatively to understand technical needs, develop management solutions, and provide in-depth troubleshooting in a complex networked environment.
- maintain the health of our deployed, heterogenous, end-user computing fleet.
- maintain current and accurate inventory of company hardware and software under the purvey of it.
- maintain and develop internal it documentation including end-user-focused knowledge base articles.
- drive our day to day it tasks and continue to build efficiency and scalability in our processes.
- act as a stakeholder for end user education through self help mechanisms including self help articles and user guides.
- assist in employee lifecycle management including asset management, account provisioning and other processes.
- issue technical bulletins to inform users of system/service changes.
- contribute to critical policies/procedures such as disaster recovery, business continuity plans, security policy, incident response plan, etc.
- maintain security awareness related to systems providing services consumed by end users and assist with remediation of security concerns.
- make recommendations and/or participate in system architecture and design (some of which include researching opportunities to automate processes).
- monitor compliance with policies and regularly report results to it leadership
- develop and increase the use of automation.
- willingness to be assigned projects and tasks outside of your skillset to assist in research and new software/hardware solutions.
*requirements*:
- able to legally work as a full-time contractor within mexico (visa sponsorship is not available).
- work location that has reliable high speed internet and availability for full-time work during us hours eastern time coverage.
- high level of emotional intelligence and empathy.
- excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating technical information in terms understandable to the end user.
- fluent in english (both conversational and written).

- 2+ years of experience with supporting microsoft windows, macos, linux systems.
- 2+ years of experience with administering and troubleshooting saas platforms.
- knowledge of network fundamentals, including dns, subnetting, firewalls, and ip addressing.
- proactive approach to problem solving and making improvements.
- excellent follow-through, which includes having an understanding of and adherence to basic project management best practices.
- curious, self-starter with good problem solving skills who engages in continuous improvement practices (willingness to learn while doing).
- deep desire to keep solutions simple while meeting the needs of the organization.
- working knowledge of it automation.
- expertise in macos and windows operating systems.
- experience personally successfully supporting pc users, apple users, printers, network, and a/v equipment.
- comfortable with major saas platforms and their management.
- proactive, upbeat and collaborative communication style, with the ability to be direct, tactful, and transparent.
- ability to write clean code in one or more of shell scripting, powershell, python, java, etc.
- solid understanding of network stack.
- solid security concept understanding.
- demonstrated experience using and maintaining intune and jamf pro or equivalent system management utilities. Serve as lead engineer for system management utilities.
- working understanding of sso/saml technologies.
- very comfortable at problem-solving independently.
- strong sense of urgency and initiative.

- experience with scripting and automation.
- experience with remediating security vulnerabilities.
- great problem management skills -able to resolve problems throughout the information system lifecycle, including classification, prioritization and initiation of action, documentation of root causes and implementation of remedies.
- experience using gam or similar programmatic google management tool.
- extensive saas knowledge of systems like google workspace, atlassian, slack, and others.
- soc compliance certification experience.
- knowledge of computer systems validation principles, including iq, oq, or pq.
