main responsibilities:
* have accountability from a technology perspective for all functional areas of the business in latin america, including commercial, supply chain, direct store delivery, and corporate functions.
* be a member of the leadership team for the international portfolio.
* deliver technology services and business enabling solutions with greater agility.
* support and influence organizational and it leadership in setting the overall direction of a large/complex portfolio (in collaboration with ea), including overseeing, managing, and using the entire lifecycle of it investments.
* act as the primary resource for the investment council, steering committee and senior executives for communications, and for reporting the state and performance of the portfolio.
* provides and presents data to support leadership efforts in the selection of an optimized mix of it project investments; challenges the status quo where possible.
* make the best possible use of all resources (peers and executive leaders) to deliver maximum value and benefit from projects and programs in the portfolio.
* facilitate and coordinate the establishment of portfolio definition, its structures and processes, from demand management and strategic alignment of projects and programs through achieving results.
* validate and assess the project portfolio, executing change, and reprioritizing as necessary to deliver maximum business value.
* own and manage the project and cost center financials for the lab portion of the portfolio.
qualifications/requirements:
* bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field (e.g., information systems, technology, business administration, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* typically, 10-15 years’ experience, including at least 8 years of leadership experience and 8 years managing projects and/or project portfolios.
* fluent in both spanish and english.
* the latin american beverages business at this time is primarily focused on our business in mexico, so candidates should have at least 5 years of their experience supporting the mexican business for the companies they work for.
* extensive experience in managing “upward” among senior leadership and leading diverse teams.
* strong experience managing project budgets, and familiarity with financial management best practices.
licenses and certifications required:
project management certification or successful completion of a recognized project/ portfolio management curriculum required.
