in this vital role you will promote and support adherence to all healthcare compliance requirements (internal and external) in the country affiliate and serve as country data privacy lead for the country.

*responsibilities*:
- accountable for contributing to and defining the sites compliance strategy to support the business using a risk-based approach to assess business impact.
- be part of the leadership team and local data privacy.
- act as a key contact for regional healthcare compliance, providing strategic advice within the sites.
- represent the sites within world compliance and business ethics.
- understand compliance and business drivers, goals and strategies, advocating for compliance within the business.
- coordinate and implement (within the sites) amgen's corporate compliance programs and policies and international compliance standards and procedures.
- interact with and successfully influence all levels of staff in the sites to accomplish compliance initiatives and goals.
- drive and be responsible for risk assessments, self-reviews and participate in assurance and investigation activities.
- lead all aspects of (and in coordination with relevant functions) corrective action implementation.
- balance physical presence with affiliate according to regional and sites priorities.
- may serve as a line manager.

*basic qualifications*:
- doctorate degree and 2 years of experience similar position or
- master's degree and 4 years of experience similar position or
- bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience similar position or
- associate's degree and 10 years of experience similar position or
- high school diploma / ged and 12 years of experience similar position.
- proficiency in english and spanish, both in written and verbal communication.
*experience & knowledge*:
- solid experience in compliance in pharma/ biotech business.
- subject matter expertise in applicable laws and regulations (for example: local anticorruption law and local trade association code of conduct)
- performing healthcare compliance related documentation reviews.
