job description
* establish strategies that achieve the business goals for the assigned channel, including plt, tt, hvt, continental, cmc & others.
* provide input as a key stakeholder into the sales planning forecasting process, rolling up external sales inputs and representing the customer in the sales meetings with supply chain.
* establish a 5 year plan with milestones for the channel: sales, needs, resources, etc. Proactively lead a planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, kpis, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive sales channel relationship.
* manage the team focusing on developing the right skills to achieve their goals, using sales force as part of the tools to create engagement and follow-ups with the team.
* ensure the marketing plans development, together with the marketing department, requesting specific promotions after conducting the market analysis including cross promotions, local and focused promotions, rewards, and inventory removal. Provide support and monitoring for the effective operation of programs, campaigns, and communication.
* sell in / sell out: develop strategies and actions to increase sales based on information analysis. Supervise all activities involving customers and consumers. Work with the marketing area and suppliers to ensure that the processes and materials used meet customer needs. Monitor compliance with defined standards.
* implement and supervise the national/regional channel campaign and activities plan. Check, coordinate, and monitor individual campaigns by client. Develop events with clients or customers. Manage the marketing accruals of the channel.
* ensure the sales team analyzes the information provided by the bi department and generated by the dealer, using it for customer consultancy and implementation of campaigns. Constantly provide information to bi about the competition, customers, the market, and product catalog.
* follow up, tracking the budget assigned for travel expenses with a +-5% deviation.
* ensure the team focuses on opening new customers to achieve national coverage.
* visit independent car repair shops and points of sale in the assigned area, carrying out various activities including organizing and planning work schedules, retail checklists, presentations of goals and sales, reviewing and monitoring implemented sell out campaigns, and analyzing territory and markets to identify business opportunities.
* prepare executive presentations for top management, national management, internal & external clients.
* support to solve problems in the operation and logistics process. Provide advice to generate ideas, strategies, and campaigns focused on retail and development of service workshops.
* finance: support the department for portfolio recovery through effective communication between the department and clients. Mediator to achieve credit-related agreements. Ensure knowledge of financial aspects is implemented in business plans and kpi fulfillment.
* collaboration in assigned projects (internal & external).
qualifications
* bachelor's degree completed.
* at least 3 years of experience working in sales (focus in retail business).
* at least 3 years of experience leading project teams and direct leadership of people.
* previous experience in retail will be a strong plus.
* advanced level of english is required (interviews will be in english).
