with an aim to drive informed decision making and secure behavior throughout the business, this role is tasked with assessing our third parties for cyber risk, both before we begin doing business with them, and on an ongoing basis.
the role will also work with the cyber risk teams to collate risks and report metrics for the region.years of experience needed in similar roles:minimum 15 years experience with minimum 10 years of people management experience.main responsabilities:key areas under the role delivered through the third party risk management team include:- identifying and assessing third parties for cyber risks during the onboarding and contracting processes.
any potential risks are identified, and compensating controls will be agreed with the business.- assessing third party cyber risk and governance on an ongoing basis with existing suppliers utilizing a risk based approach.- reporting on third party cyber risk within the region.- working with education, awareness, and engagement teams to ensure the organization understands the cyber risks associated with third parties.this role will work with the with the governance, risk, assurance, and compliance team to provide visibility of third party cyber risks within the region and enable risk based decision making at the organizational level.- responsible for assessing third party cyber risk during the onboarding and contracting processes with new businesses.- responsible for assessing third party cyber risk on an ongoing basis for existing suppliers using a risk based approach.- responsible for working with the cyber education awareness, and engagement teams to help the business understand the cyber risks associated with third parties.- responsible for reporting on third party cyber risk in the region.- attracting, managing, developing, and leading colleagues.what you´ll need to succeed?- excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to be understood by both technical and non-technical personnel.- proven ability to lead, develop and motivate teams.- the ability to lead through accountability with delegated responsibilities.- ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple tasks.- stakeholder management and interpersonal skills at both a technical and non-technical level.- outstanding influencing ability
