the wpb supplier manager for america's would work with cio and business managers, finance managers, ppm team, procurement team, group it cost management team and it heads to ensure a consistent and effective approach to managing the following:
- work with service line mangers and bm for running cost board every week for america's
- responsible for reviewing all request submitted to cost board from commercial review and supplier type
- contract management and commercial management of supplier contracts
- manage and review supplier contracts for measuring service credits and ensure adherence to kpi's are met by supplier
- review of sow and providing commercial and operational observation
review all aspects of third party spends
develop and maintain communication at all levels across the organization to facilitate smooth and effective running of cost board operation and outcomes for wpb.
leading the budget planning and forecasting process to target, including challenging unrealistic forecasts;
- interface with the business manager, finance manager and delivery heads in putting together third party demand;
- run third party risk management forum for wpb in america's and also work as tpem for critical engagements;
- ensure 100 % compliance of all third party risk management policy for all suppliers used by wpb it in america's
- run vendor governance and performance management forum for all strategic and high critical vendors of wpb it
- run sco initiative for wpb with central sco team of it
- develop demand management of third party across wpb it
- create contracts calendar and renewal process for wpb it
- interface with wpb delivery organization and architects for third party spend management
- work with cio for third party demand, spend and planning
requirements
*requirements*:
- typically educated to undergraduate degree level, masters degree preferred.
- experience and proven track record in vendor, cost and commercial management including cost reduction / optimisation programmes
- expert knowledge on it infrastructure technical platforms / technologies, execution of it vendor management policies
- good understanding of the it global delivery model and future roadmap
- strong leadership and management skills together with the ability to motivate staff from a variety of backgrounds
- ability to work in a multi geography, culturally diverse and time-zone separated management role
- good communications skills and ability to motivate and communicate at all levels of the organisation
- analytical with the ability to understand and resolve problems
