salary range: $85,000-115,000 usd.
position responsibilities
cj logistics is seeking a bi-lingual (spanish/english) country human resources director to lead the hr function for our operations in mexico, driving strategic hr initiatives that align with the company’s objectives. This role requires a dynamic leader who can foster a high-performance culture, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
essential duties & responsibilities
strategic hr leadership:
1. develop and implement hr strategies that support the company’s business goals in mexico.
2. collaborate with senior management to align hr initiatives with business needs.
talent acquisition and management:
1. oversee recruitment efforts to attract top talent and build an inclusive workforce.
2. implement talent management programs to nurture employee learning/development and career progression.
employee relations:
1. foster a positive workplace culture by promoting effective communication and conflict resolution.
2. act as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations issues and develop action plans to address attrition and employee engagement initiatives.
performance management:
1. design and implement performance management systems that drive accountability and high performance.
2. support managers in conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
compensation and benefits:
1. manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with local market standards.
2. conduct regular market analysis to keep compensation practices up-to-date.
training and development:
1. develop training programs that enhance employee skills and promote career development.
2. promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.
compliance and risk management:
1. ensure compliance with local employment and labor laws/regulations.
2. monitor changes in employment legislation and adapt company policies accordingly.
hr metrics and reporting:
1. analyze hr metrics to measure the effectiveness of hr programs and initiatives.
2. provide regular reports to senior management on hr performance and key indicators.
requirements and qualifications:
1. bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
2. 12+ years of progressive hr experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
3. strong knowledge of mexican labor laws and regulations.
4. excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. proven ability to develop and implement hr strategies that drive organizational success.
6. bilingual (spanish and english) is required.
