*overview*:
as part of the team, you will be supporting the logistics team in export shipments of fastenal mexico and processing the payments for carriers and customs brokers. In this position, you will perform and fulfill several tasks related to customer service and international transportation of goods that will make you the link between fastenal mexico’s sales force and customs brokers. This individual will report to the mexico trade compliance team while helping continue research, creating solutions, developing new routes, and enforcing compliance throughout mexico. Some key areas supported by this team include sales, trade compliance, supply chain, operations & logistics teams*.*
*responsibilities*:
the dutiesand responsibilities of this position include,but are not limited to:
- supporting solutions to the stores to comply with regulations of customs laws, enforcing company policywith regards to customs & compliance.
- provide customer service excellence by serving branches in all mexico.
- advise sales staff on logistics inquiries.
- maintain regular contact with branches to understand needs and identify business opportunities.
- support in monitoring export shipments door to door.
- identify potential issues and give best solutions for branches.
- preparing proper documentation for customs clearance.
- work with customs brokers to export the merchandise.
- daily excel tracker reports to maintain kpis.
- prepare payments for customs brokers.
- prepare payments for carriers.
- keep communication with carriers and forwarders.
- deliver monthly reports of the operation

Knowledge in incoterms.
Excellent writtenand oral communication skills(english & spanish).
