*responsibilities*- coordinate the receipt, storage and flow of materials through manufacturing facility on time and in full basis.- motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce in safe and respectful environment.- develop and implement procedures and controls that ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency.- provide necesary information for key decision making on a timely and accurate manner.- creates and leads strategy to optimize warehousing space, activities, systems and assets.- drive manufacturing plant's overall digital transformation strategy and roadmap.- partner with management to review existing internal site processes and identify areas of improvement.- assist with the development of new fit-for-purpose digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and improve service level*education & experience* recommended*- four-year or graduate degree in supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.- 5+ years leading warehouse operations (receiving, warehousing, wip and shipping)- proven experience in implementing lean tools.- project management*preferred certifications*- lean six sigma certification*knowledge & skills*- warehouse and inventory management- teamwork: it involves the ability to collaborate and cooperate with others, to be part of a group and work together; the opposite of doing it individually and competitively.- leadership: team builder, personnel developer and leader by example.
