job overview: we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented video editor to bring visual content to life and enhance their digital campaigns. This role requires a strong understanding of storytelling, video editing tools, and performance-driven strategies to create impactful video content for dtc and ecommerce brands.
responsibilities:
* video editing and production:
o edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with brand guidelines.
o create ad content for social media platforms (e.g., facebook, tiktok, instagram).
o add graphics, animations, and effects to enhance video storytelling.
* storyboarding and concept development:
o collaborate with creative strategists and clients to develop engaging storyboards.
o translate concepts into visually compelling video content.
o adapt videos for various formats, including short-form and long-form content.
* optimization and feedback:
o incorporate data-driven feedback to improve video performance (ctr, engagement, etc.).
o stay updated on video trends and editing techniques to ensure content remains relevant.
o review and implement feedback from creative strategists, clients, and team members.
qualifications, skills and key competencies:
* proficiency in video editing tools such as adobe premiere pro, final cut pro, davinci resolve, or similar software.
* experience in creating performance-driven ad content for social media.
* knowledge of motion graphics and tools like after effects is a plus.
* strong understanding of visual storytelling and creative trends.
* portfolio showcasing video projects, especially for dtc/ecommerce brands.
* excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
