as our people partner, your main objective is to ensure that every baubapian in the team is being heard, feels taken care of, is constantly constructively challenged to keep growing with us.
you are the person who makes sure our culture permeates across the different areas of the company, working hand-in-hand with the various leaders to help them make sure their team is prospering, performing and growing.
you will be working with the middle management, creating action plans for their team focusing on their development plans, strategies for team-building and constantly assuring that the virtues are lived in every decision they make.
you will be the main contact for the baubapians after their first month with us, providing their leaders a clear input on how the baubapian is feeling, how they are experiencing the company in general, and how aligned they are both in terms of their competencies and virtues.
you will be reporting to our people ops and culture lead, and will work together with our people generalist to ensure the baubapian's journey with us is as seamless as possible.
*outcomes (what we want the role to accomplish)*
- by being directly involved how the baubapians perceive the company and the support they receive, you will be a key part of ensuring we have excellent results in the enps, aiming for over 30 points.
- by co-creating a stimulating, healthy environment, you will ensure our baubapians are satisfied and committed, aiming for very low levels of attrition (below 10%)
- by provide ongoing insights to the middle management in order for them to improve, you will be directly impacting the team members' growth, and consequently, the growth of whole baubap.
*day to day (task that help us achieve the outcomes)*
- conducting the various check-ins with the team members (first month check-ins, six month check-ins, check-ins after a manager change or after significant organizational change) and providing valuable insights to their leaders.
- working together with the leaders to develop relevant and impactful development plans.
- supporting the first time leaders during their time of transition, ensuring we conduct proper follow-ups with them and their team members in order to identify areas for improvement and design the action plans accordingly.
- documenting the various courses of action to create a consolidated track-record of team member's performance, in order to be able to make informed decisiones.
*requirements*:
- bachelor degree
- minimum 3 years experience working as a people partner or hrbp, being fully responsible for an entire area in a high-growth startup
- experience negotiating / advising the area leaders on the recommended course of action
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; (english and spanish)
