the position plays a key role in understanding current and future market trends as well as preparing predictions for new product launches.
this position is also responsible for overseeing the total finished goods inventory pipeline from global and local suppliers to the dcs.
this position collaborates with different areas such as fp&a, sales & product marketing, global regulatory affairs, legal, distribution and logistics, finance, fgs & production planning, global project management, and global demand planning.
this role is in charge of analyzing, calibrating, and maintaining planning parameters such as safety stock and transit times to ensure proper system replenishment signals.how you would contribute:elaborate yearly/monthly forecasts to ensure inventory levels to support distributor demand.conduct monthly forecasts review/analysis in alignment with fp&a insights.execute forecast updates/uploads for the entire portfolio in the system demantra.collaborate with product marketing when preparing forecasts analysis for new product launches.monthly alignment with corporate demand planning on predictions, global trends, promotions, and changes in our sales model.review the entire supply pipeline from global and local suppliers to dcs to ensure service level.conduct regular meetings with finished goods planning teams to identify any risk and propose solutions according to ascp recommendations.monitor the finished goods flow by working with local and global distribution and logistics teams.participate and present metrics in weekly/monthly meetings with different local and global areas.monitor new launches project progress to help ensure meeting deadlines for successful launches.monthly/quarterly parameters review and calibration in systems to ensure proper replenishment signals.maintain track of agile tasks assigned until completion.collaborate with legal and global regulatory affairs to provide support on managing country regulatory changes.collaborate with global inventory management to understand inventory targets, inventory turns, and working capital guidelines.what's special about the team:active role in an international structure and opportunity for development.work in a very dynamic environment.work effectively and partner with other leaders across the company to meet common goals.job qualificationsskills and background required to be successful:5 years' experience in a manufacturing-based environment in planning, purchasing, distribution, and logistics.excellent analytical, problem-solving/decision-making skills; ability to make timely,effective, fact-based decisions.
