as our next technical helpdesk troubleshooter, you will be supporting maintenance technicians in resolving technical issues, working to ensure products are maintained in compliance with kone's safety, process and quality requirements.
responsibilities include, but are not limited to: technical help desk and site support services for front linesprovide remote technical support for maintenance technicians in identifying the root cause and corrective solutionprovide spare part identification supportsupport in proximity stock definition for new lisprovide 24/7 connected services analytics and support by evaluating non-standard and non-urgent service needstogether with 24/7 operations center support technicians in configuring and repairing krm devices and connectionslog all cases to thd toolwhen needed, assign/direct the case to a relevant expert in the organization or escalate to globalcreate knowledge base articlespropose sales solutions (packaged service repairs) to improve equipment reliability, comfort and safetysupport sales in assessing the maintainability (spare part availability, documentation, competences, maintenance need) of equipment before tendering for maintenance contracttraining: train local technicians during site visits and/or deliver scheduled training sessionsco-operate with and provide expertise to local training centers in training coursesquality: create quality reports in the thd tool after remote support and/or site visits and list issues which require corrective actionsidentify proactively root causes for the issues and forward corrective actions according to kone process requirements (e.g.
trainings, guidelines, field letters etc.
)cor review / identify units for clinica visitsnote: clinica visits performed by field troubleshootersafety: be aware and operate within kone safety requirementsensure each site follows the global safety processes and guidelinesfollow the safety procedures and rules of customers, partners, and konereport safety concernsstop installation or lift operations if safety violation or hazards are detectedhiring requirements: bachelor's or technical degree in mechanics, electronics or similar3 years of experience in a similar positiongood ms excel skillsgood communication skillsadvanced knowledge in elevators and escalatorswhat can kone offer you?
