as a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our acquisition program, optimizing campaign performance, and driving smb merchant growth.
you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our u.s.-based team, leveraging world-class best practices to build a local media buying team capable of operating at the lowest level of detail while maintaining cost per acquisition as low as possible.
your primary focus will be on executing paid media strategy and campaign execution to increase lead generation and optimal return on ad spend (roas).key responsibilities:* manage multi-million dollar annual digital budgets across digital paid marketing channels, working with partners such as meta, google, and tiktok to optimize campaign performance and test new products.
* leverage world-class best practices from our u.s. team to build a local media buying team capable of operating at the lowest level of detail while maintaining cost per acquisition as low as possible.
* execute paid media strategy and campaign execution to increase lead generation and optimal roas.
* maintain and monitor key metrics across channels including budget pacing, leads generated, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, and lifetime value proxies.
* manage an experimentation roadmap to optimize performance including a/b creative tests, incrementality tests, and bidding algorithm tests.
* work closely with other teams and stakeholders to ensure goals are met.requirements:* proficient in the english language and able to communicate clearly and concisely.
* proven track record in the performance marketing space, with 4+ years of experience.
* direct, hands-on experience managing media buying, optimization (paid social, paid search, paid display), and strategic planning either at an agency or in-house.
* highly proficient in excel/google sheets and familiar with all digital marketing metrics including leads generated, conversion rate, cost per click, cost per acquisition, cost per mille, lifetime value, and return on ad spend.
* strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make decisions and conduct experiments.
* experience with web tracking/attribution (preferred).
* knowledge of sql (preferred).
