summary
we are seeking an experienced and proactive workday tier 1 & 2 support specialist with a solid understanding of workday's enterprise interface builders (eibs) and hr processes. The ideal candidate will have several years of experience supporting, troubleshooting, and enhancing workday hcm (human capital management) systems, particularly in eib loads and hr functionalities while providing a high level of service to internal users.
responsibilities
1. provide tier 1 & 2 support for workday eib processes including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system performance monitoring.
2. assist in loading and managing inbound and outbound eibs, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timely transfers.
3. support and troubleshoot data loads related to employee records, compensation, benefits, and other hr-related processes.
4. collaborate with it, hris, and hr teams to address and resolve eib or integration-related concerns.
5. offer guidance and support to end-users on standard workday hr processes, such as payroll, recruiting, talent management, and performance management.
6. ensure hr processes are configured, aligned with business requirements, and are followed according to best practices.
7. support users in troubleshooting functional or technical issues related to hr workflows, business processes, and system configurations.
8. document and escalate issues to tier 3 or external vendors when necessary.
education and specific training:
1. bachelor’s degree in human resources, information technology, business, or a related field preferred.
2. minimum 3-5 years of experience providing support in a workday hcm environment, specifically with eibs, integrations, and hr processes.
3. fluency in english (written and verbal) is essential.
4. solid experience in troubleshooting and supporting tier 1 & 2 workday issues related to eibs, integrations, and hris modules.
5. experience with workday reporting and dashboards.
6. knowledge of workday studio (advanced integration) is a plus.
7. strong understanding of workday eibs, including the ability to load and troubleshoot data integrations.
8. experience working with workday’s various hr modules, such as core hr, compensation, benefits, recruiting, and talent management.
9. knowledge of data mapping, transformation, and validation techniques within workday.
hr knowledge:
1. deep understanding of hr processes, policies, and systems.
2. ability to guide users through hr transactions in workday, ensuring processes are compliant with organizational practices and regulations.
3. workday integration certification is a plus.
the role will be expected to work us time zone (eastern) as standard but may be required to change time zones occasionally as projects dictate.
