Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all .
micron technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
responsibilities and tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:
* working with dram product architect in defining assumed top level safety requirements for seooc (safety element out of context) products
* working with the dram product architect to define technical safety concept and requirements and refine the architecture to comply with assumed top level requirements
* estimate fit for the entire dram chip according to relevant reliability standards
* calculate the distribution of fit to each block of the device with a weighted methodology (area or transistors count)
* enumerate possible failure mode of each block and allocate fit for each of these
* determine effects of failure to the top-level safety goals of the dram
* verify that the architecture solutions defined in the concept phase are sufficient to detect the effect or the root cause of the failure mode, where gaps exist driving solutions in an iterative way
* participate to the internal analysis of the dependencies (i.e common causes failure, cascading failures) with the so-called dependent failure analysis (dfa) identifying impacts to the safety concept and driving solutions
* participate to formal internal reviews of the technical content of multiple safety artifacts
* participate as a subject matter expert in external and internal audits and assessments for fusa collateral for design id specific technical content
* develop customer safety collaterals like safety manual, safety analysis report and pinfmea
* contribute to creation of internal training material and development of educational programs at company level
preferred experience:
* dram architecture experience with knowledge of block level function and interactions (preferred)
* dram design or engineering experience (design/pe/qual)
* dram package knowledge - including ranks/channels, ballout/netlist, and temperature concepts (thermal impedance, ambient and junction temperature, etc)
* semiconductor experience together with dram proven experience is a plus
* general knowledge of single event upset events
* system-level knowledge is a plus (auto/industrial)
