minimum qualifications:
* bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field (mba or master’s preferred).
* minimum 7 years of experience in plant financial controlling within automotive or manufacturing environments.
* strong knowledge of standard costing, abc costing, and budget control.
* advanced english required.
* strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.
essential functions and responsibilities
* calculation and analysis of plant financial metrics, including cost per unit, variances, and operational kpis.
* forecasting and budgeting for materials and production costs, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
* quality and warranty cost tracking, including root cause analysis and financial impact reporting.
* oversight of inventory valuation, accuracy, and control, ensuring alignment with corporate and sat standards.
* standard costing development and analysis, driving cost transparency and control across the plant.
* capital expenditure (capex) budget control, including investment tracking and depreciation alignment.
* creation and review of business cases for plant projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
* analysis and monitoring of logistics and transportation costs for efficiency opportunities.
* customs and duties cost control, ensuring compliance with trade regulations (immex, vat certifications).
* experience in budgetary control and variance analysis, supporting accountability and financial discipline.
* knowledge and experience in fixed asset accounting, including tracking, capitalization, and disposals.
* strong understanding of controlling principles (controlling/co module in sap) and financial reporting frameworks.
* proficiency in microsoft excel for financial modeling, dashboards, and data analysis.
* proficiency in microsoft powerpoint for executive-level presentations and reporting.
* proven experience with sap fi/co modules, including cost center accounting, internal orders, and product costing.
