to ensure success as a *workday integration analyst/developer *, you should be skilled at using all of the available technologies including workday studio, apis, core connectors, eibs, xslt, custom transformation, report builder, and calc fields to implement complex solutions while working on multiple projects and enhancement requests.
*workday developer responsibilities*:
- key technical integration resource for projects and enhancements
- review and discussing project requirements with key personnel assigned to projects.
- assisting project leaders in determining project timelines and objectives.
- monitoring existing workday integrations and resolve any failures.
- work with functional team on integration questions and adhoc integration execution
- review and improving existing workday integration for performance and fixes.
*technical knowledge requirements*:
- developing new integrations to meet the changing needs of clients or business processes.
- designing and developing new integrations based on user requirements and business needs.
- understanding of xml and the ability to write xslt for the transformation of integration files.
- knowledge of workday integration tools which include workday studio, apis, core connectors, eibs, xslt, custom transformation, report builder, and calc fields
- testing semi-annual workday upgrades to ensure that integrations are not impacted by the new release.
- complete testing of integration development changes to ensure that they function as intended before installing changes to production.
- maintaining existing integration documentation and make needed updates with new business requirements.
- debugging integrations to identify and resolve errors in coding.

- understanding of workday configurations and security
- understanding of payroll and tax data
- understanding of human resource transactions
