This role is responsible for the financial operations of ariat's wholly owned subsidiary in mexico. This position, located in guadalajara, mexico, reports directly to the us headquarter based vice president of finance.
you'll make a difference by country level financial management, planning and analysis, including risk management, internal controls, tax compliance, and business and financial reporting.developing all cost center, profit center, and balance sheet budgets, lead monthly financial and business review meetings, and provide variance analysis to business partners and us financial management.producing forward-looking income statement and balance sheet forecasts, including inventory, open-to-buy, capital expenditures, and sales, margin and expense analytics and insights to support decision making and manage performance expectations.leading the local financial team and coordinating with external auditors and contracted financial and tax professionals.developing effective internal controls and establishing financial governance and oversight.other duties as assigned.about you must have strong bilingual communication abilities (english and spanish), interpersonal, managerial, and analytical skills with the ability to build relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.highly efficient with advanced to expert excel skills including lookup & reference functions, if statements, data importing, and linking.must be able to retrieve and interpret complex data, develop reports, draw conclusions and make recommendations.experience with outlook, word, and powerpoint. Experience with oracle netsuite or other comparable erp and reporting tools. Cognos, sap, adaptive insights experience is a plus.ability to lead country reviews, provide strategic business insights, highlight variances, and recommend actions with a very strong attention to detail.bachelor's degree from an accredited college, preferably in business, accounting, or finance.
