General scope and responsibilities:
- responsible for managing the industrial organization. Participates in establishing the objectives and strategies that will determine the company’s strategic direction.
- formulates, negotiates, and manages the organization’s objectives and budgets, as well as the strategies and action plans to achieve those objectives. Validates and authorizes standard operating procedures (sop) for the company.
- determines and executes administrative policies through subordinate managers.
- insures the optimal operation of departments within the organization such as production, quality, finance, materials, engineering, maintenance, human resources, etc.
- responsible for selecting, training, motivating, and developing his/her staff as well as acting as a facilitator. Also responsible for promoting and maintaining interdepartmental harmony.
Experience and requirements:
- high school degree or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business management, business, or related field preferred; master's in business administration or management a plus
- 3 years' previous experience as a plant manager,
- strong management skills with the ability to supervise multiple teams
- able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- excellent leadership, team building, and management skills
- encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead
- good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
- in-depth knowledge of the industry and its place in the market
- able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities
- bilingual english and spanish skills.
