important: to be considered for this role, you must have extensive experience working with websites in the services industry—handling multiple clients and projects simultaneously. We are looking for someone who has repeatedly taken over web development teams for clients whose websites offer services. Experience limited to e-commerce or software product teams will not be considered. Experience with clients in the home services industry (e.g., plumbing, hvac, electricians) is a plus.

your mission
you see the bigger picture and act decisively. In this role, you will:
1. lead with vision: oversee our website development team as if you were running your own digital enterprise, owning every facet of the process.
2. drive profitability: develop and execute your proven strategy to turn our web development team profitable through precise budgeting, resource management, and rigorous quality oversight.
3. deliver next-level excellence: ensure every project is completed on time, within budget, and meets uncompromising, next-level quality standards. Anything less than exceptional is unacceptable—it must be perfected before release.
4. strategize & innovate: analyze current challenges and leverage your hands-on experience to implement processes that yield measurable improvements.
5. full ownership beyond project management: this role is far more than traditional project management. You'll control quality, time, resources, budget, and team improvements—essentially running a mini organization within our organization.
6. collaborate effectively: work closely with our cto (anton) and cross-functional teams to propel our digital marketing service to new heights.

requirements
experience requirements
1. proven leadership: 5+ years of hands-on experience managing web development teams in multi-client, multi-project environments focused on services websites.
2. digital marketing & web development expertise: demonstrated success in leading web development teams within a digital marketing service—optimizing processes and driving exceptional results.
3. agency experience: prior experience in multi-client, multi-project agency environments is required.
4. technical acumen: possess a strong grasp of web development fundamentals and digital marketing technologies.
5. effective communicator: excellent communication skills are a must. You should have proven experience communicating with russian-speaking teams or be able to present a clear plan for effective engagement. Fluency in russian is a plus.

earnings for this position range from:
