*what you will do in this role*:
orchestrates by the barrel, trade, media, business and governmental relations visits to casa herradura.
collaborates with internal and external partners to facilitate requests and provide a super premium visitor experience.
supports homeplace manager in general homeplace management activities as needed.
*what you will experience*:
- serves as the manager on duty when homeplace manager is not onsite.
- serves as the primary contact and lead for trade/media/by the barrel/business
- develops and maintains an effective relationship with people at all levels including internal and external stakeholders; sales, marketing, government relations, vendors, etc.
- maintains strong working relationship with casa herradura production team, ensuring clear and thorough communication regarding homeplace activities.
- proactively communicates planned activities to the homeplace manager and homeplace team.
- responsible for scheduling team members to host and execute trade/media/by the barrel/business relations guest experiences.
hosts groups and, when needed, leads tours.
- coordinates brand education training for guest services and the retail team.
- champions risk management and safety protocols for all activities and all services related to the homeplace groups under their care.
- utilizes xola event software system for scheduling, billing, and revenue tracking.
captures guest feedback, tracks and reports guest counts monthly.
- keeps month-end reports accurate and works closely with the homeplace analyst, finance and accounting team to code monthly invoices.
*retail*:
- represents the casa herradura brands and distillery by being knowledgeable of all products.
- educates guests on casa herradura products and history to promote and sell bottles and other casa herradura products.
- ensures all state laws regarding alcohol sales are being followed at all times.
- operates sap erp, salesforce and current pos system.
- can perform opening and closing procedures for the store as needed
- learns and performs accurate engraving of bottles and performs a quality check.
- assists in inventory cycle counts and yearly counts.
*what exactly are we looking for?
*:
- bachelor's degree
- 2-5 years in the hospitality, and/or meeting planning industry.
- excellent verbal and written communicator
- highly organized, strong attention to detail
- solution and action-oriented: responds in a timely and effective manner to business issues and opportunities
- strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate effectively in a collaborative environment as well as independently
- demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain effective working relationships
- literate with google suite, word processing programs (such as word), spreadsheet programs (such as excel), and presentation programs (such as powerpoint).
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- be able to memorize and articulate tour script & lead groups up to 30, while standing for long periods of time.
- ability to read, write and speak english fluently
