responsibilities
- management and oversight of team members including coaching, mentoring, training and career development
- lead recruiting, staffing, training and onboarding processes as appropriate
- control onboarding and training of team members
- assist with performance management processes (e.g., goal setting, performance evaluation)
- oversee time management processes (e.g., time approval, scheduling)
- interaction and communication with the respective business units in order to facilitate any special operating and/or reporting requirements
- initiation and active support of regular improvement process activities with it development team, active analysis of areas of improvement and testing of new improvements
- ensure compliance with sox requirements
- dealing with audit requests and participating in regular meetings with external and internal auditors
- us gaap bookkeeping of respective ap transactions and bank payments
- investigation of correct accounting of irregular, complex operations
- perform review of financial master data maintenance performance
- review period-close reports and ensure readiness for financial close
- verify and approve journal entries as appropriate

- finance/accounting background
- acca/dipifr would be beneficial
- working knowledge of sap (advantage), other erp systems
